Hello! I am looking for a job and I would love to work with kids again. In Belgium I have worked in a daycare (age 0 - 3 months) for two years and really loved this job. Besides that I have been babysitting regularly since I was 14 on different kids with different ages. I am very flexible and willing to do some light housework. I preferably would want to work with very young children (under 5). I am willing to do au pair, nannying, babysitting, ... Feel free to ask any questions!

I am a responsible, positive with ten years experience working with children. I have worked as an after-school care leader, inclusion facilitator for children with special needs, a swim coach for children on the spectrum, summer camp teacher, summer camp recreation leader, and summer camp coordinator. I have cared for infants as young as 10 months as well as toddlers, and taught children aged 3-5 in early childhood education (preschool/daycare). I have tried uploading my resume to the website but it keeps not saving so please email me for my resume!! I would love to share it with you and answer any questions you might have! I practice childcare through a trauma-informed lens that aims to support the competence, autonomy, and relatedness of all children. My experience working with children and general life experience make me a good candidate for this position because I've had opportunities to strengthen my conflict resolution, reasoning, rapport-building, and age-appropriate communication skills. I know lots of games and songs, and am very good at engaging children. I place great importance of giving children opportunities to speak for themselves, explore their implicit motivations, and ensure they are validated and respected. I uphold children's rights to respect and dignity through listening to what they have to say and always considering things from their perspective. I like to brainstorm activities with the child, as opposed to activities for the child (age-dependent of course). In terms of my availability, I am looking for something full-time, live-out as I believe that work-life balance is important for providing optimal care. I have successfully completed my working with children check and should be receiving the card by next week! I also have a local police check from home and a recent note from my doctor stating that I am mentally, physically and emotionally able to work with children (this is a requirement to work with kids in Canada so I brought one with me).

Hello Family, After more than 5 years experience in the child-care sector, I decided to move from Germany to Australia. I am a professional children's nurse in Germany, including a First Aid Certificate and a lot of experience taking care of children from all age-groups. Though I moved here, I still miss the kind of work I did in Germany. Once you meet me you will see: I am a funny, loving and caring person, but can also be a team leader. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have recently relocated to Melbourne from Ireland. I have always had an interest in working and caring for children from an early age. I have looked after four children on a regular basis for three years in Ireland and also have worked as an au pair in Italy for six weeks back in 2014.

Hi, I am currently in my second year of my working holiday visa. While here, I am hoping to work as a nanny as I love children. Ideally I would like to work full-time on week days but I am flexible with this. I have a variety of work experiences that I think makes me very suitable to work with children of all ages. I have babysat for children from the ages of 3 weeks to 13 years and have always had a good connection with children. I have about 10 years experience babysitting day and night, I grew up surrounded by younger children so I am very comfortable working with babies and toddlers. In addition to this, I have a bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy, but am not registered to work as this in Australia. During my study as an OT, I focused mainly on the paediatric population as I aim to work with children in the future. I completed my thesis in my final year where I completed a study with primary school children aged 4-12 in relation to development through outdoor play. I also completed a placement working in a clinic with children and teens with mental health difficulties, including, ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome, Anxiety disorders, difficulties with emotional regulation and others. I am more than happy to work with children with additional needs. I am happy to complete light housework and can prepare meals and light snacks for the children. I like to be active, so doing activities such as baking, going for walks in the park and playing outside are a bonus, however I don't have my own car. I love animals so I don't mind if you have pets. My hobbies generally include keeping fit and healthy, baking, watching movies, travelling and trying new things. References available on request

Hello, you may call me Jean, that would be easier. I'm from Taiwan. Mandarin is my native language, I speak English as well. so if you want your babe learn some Chinese that would be great. I'm a kid person, I love being with children. I have one 3 years old niece, I help my sister to take care of her some time. Know how to help her take shower, teaching her manner, telling her stories, and taking her to a park. Before I was a tutor, teaching one 7 years old boy and taking care one 5 years girl for two years. I always help them, lead them to finish their homework or doing some artwork playing board games. I'm kind of kid person who knows how to being with children, make them happy, and let them trust me.

I've worked with children for the last 20 years. I had a family Daycare for 6 children per day and then 12. I taught and trained staff on how to work with parents and kids. Was in business for 16 years. I now work as an emotion coach mostly with families but also with couples and singles as well. My business has been a hobby so far and I'd like to work with kids again - having both would be the best of worlds.

Hey there! I've been living in Australia for almost a year now! I love caring for and spending time with children. I enjoy working with kids because although it can be difficult at times, they usually bring about a light-hearted and goofy atmosphere. I'm a pretty even-keeled person as it takes a lot to stress me out! I find that I can easily adapt to care for kids of all ages, however I prefer 3 and above! I have extensive experience with children in the past. Since I have been in Australia, I've been a nanny for two different families. I was a nanny to a family in Brisbane for two months where my duties included looking after, making meals, helping with homework, playing and creating activities for their three children ages 5,7, and 10. In addition, I helped with household duties including cooking, laundry, light cleaning and dog-walking. I was also a nanny in Mount Martha to a 1-year old for two months. I really enjoyed these experiences and can confidently say that both families were sad to see me go. I was a summer camp counselor to children ages 3,4 and 5 for several years. This involved looking after 30+ children in a team of four during daily activities of music, arts and crafts, reading, playground time and swimming. I recently worked in Thailand, teaching kindergarten English for one year. I had to teach English starting from the basics- numbers, the alphabet, phonics, etc.! Growing up, I babysat regularly nights and weekends starting around the age of 15. I now have two young nieces (2 weeks and 2 years) whom I care for regularly when I am home! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, playing piano, going to the beach and travelling. If you think I might be the right fit for your family, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
