I am a uni student looking for work close to home. I would most like this work to be based in child and youth care as this is the direction I will hopefully be heading towards through my Social Work degree. I have been working with babies, kids and teenagers, either as a babysitter, mother's helper, nanny, afterschool carer, dance teacher, mentor or youthleader since I was 11 and thoroughly enjoy the work. Through this website in particular, I have had two very successful nannying jobs which were great! I am friendly, but firm and not afraid to get into the nitty gritty parts of looking after babies and younger kids! However I am more than happy to work with older kids as well. I have also had experience working with disabled children and newborns. As I am currently on uni holidays my hours are extremely flexible, however once uni resumes I will need to work around a timetable that will leave me available primarily in the afternoons and evenings for about 15 hours a week. I am looking for a family who I can form a good, respectful and fun relationship with and I can't wait to get started. Please get in touch if you feel I may be a suitable candidate for you!
