  • Full-time nanny - afternoons and evenings [Posted by: Shannon F in Mosman, New South Wales]   Posted on 10-Jul-2018
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
We are looking for someone to manage our busy household and provide after school and evening care for our 3 children, full time from early afternoons (around 12pm/1pm) to 8pm each evening (occasionally later). Flexibility to start earlier in the day during school hols would be handy but not essential. Role could be split between people with the evening more of a tutoring role. Happy, very busy executive family - both parents are working professionals who juggle high pressure jobs and who travel quite a bit. We have 3 children - Boys - 8 and 11 yo and Girl - 13 yo (all good fun and great to spend time with). 2 small ( very friendly) dogs on the property - some pet care and maintenance involved in role. Beautiful location - large family home close to Taronga Zoo in Mosman, with great acccess to local shops, parks and dog parks and Balmoral. One of our kids had some health concerns this year (on the mend now), so this role needs someone with real warmth and sensitivity. You would need to be very organised, pro-active and able to show initiative and make practical decisions . This is a busy, absorbing role - the right person will almost become part of the family. Our lovely current nanny has to leave suddenly for an urgent family situation overseas. So we have to move fast! Start date can be as early as 17 July - but if needed we can line up some interim cover. Experience running a large home and supporting older children would be an advantage. Strong preference for North Shore local. Rates depend on experience level. Detailed job description available.
