- Melissa B - 22 year old Female Last logged on 03-Sep-2015
Hi everyone :)
My name is Melissa and a recent Science (bio-medical) graduate from UQ.
I am a fun, friendly and caring person with extensive experience babysitting, nannying and tutoring. I have now been babysitting for over 5 years both part-time and full-time during university. I have been a regular nanny for over 4 years for a family of two young boys, where I was required to do the school pick-ups, drop them to after school activities and help with homework. I have been employed as a live-in nanny for a family, responsible for the full-time care of a 4 year old boy. Following this I worked part-time (~20 hours/week) for a family with two young boys aged 18 months and 3 years old and subsequently, was employed by a family of 3 children (3 months, 3 & 4). This involved driving them to and from various activities, day care, general house duties etc.
I also have several other families that I babysit for on a casual/part-time basis.
I have been a volunteer leader at the Kenmore Baptist Church for over 7 years and frequently volunteer in pediatric theater at the Wesley Hospital. It is my intention to study medicine in the near future, with the aim of eventually specializing in pediatrics.
I have both a drivers license (open, manual) and car, as well as a blue card and first aid/CPR qualifications.

I'm a caring, empathetic, responsible and rational young woman who has plenty of experience caring for children from ages 3 weeks - 12 years of age. I can connect easily with children and am able to form supportive relationships that help their growth. I am creative with activities and have been taught how to teach basic reading levels. I cared for three children (3 weeks old, 3 years old, and 4 years old) 10 hours a day for 5 days a week for 3 months; this was a nanny job which involved me being alone with them for the majority of the day, attending to all their needs and creating fun educational activities to stimulate them. I am very capable of doing housework and volunteer as a food-prep worker at a local soup kitchen, which means I am very capable of cooking and preparing food; as well as maintaining high levels of hygiene. I am capable of changing nappies, bath time, reading, cleaning, and putting kids to bed. At the moment I am looking for Friday/Saturday/Sunday night work, as well as evening work during the week. I am available all evenings, and all day Wednesday and Friday. I am looking for both a regular position and casual work based on your needs. Please feel free to call, email, or text me from my profile with any questions you have. I'm a friendly, fun and intelligent young woman.

I have my blue card, first aid/CPR, Nanny insurance, ABN, registered carer number, great references and automatic drivers license. If interested I would be more than happy to forward these along with my CV.

- Amber N - 32 year old Female Last logged on 31-Aug-2015
I have been an Aged Carer to a 63 year-old Dementia sufferer. I have also managed a boarding house with elderly residents and have been a Nanny/Au-pair to toddlers and babies. In consideration of an Au-pair/Nanny role, I am mainly seeking a more traditional type of Nanny position to assist a family and not necessarily to become an extended member of the family. Would not be available to attend holidays/vacations/family or social gatherings (mainly due to the fact that I consider them private affairs for the family).
Ideally seeking 3-5 days per week, with evenings and weekends off (preferably at least one weekday and weekends off), but I am otherwise flexible with my time, as I am willing to pitch in with extra help/babysitting when needed. Although flexible with my time, I would like to find potential employers who are respectful of my time off as well. Prefer position where driving is not required. Willing to negotiate wage. My preferred wage is between $250-$300 per week, as I tend to purchase some of my own food items and dine separately (this is mainly due to the fact that it's not always realistic to dine together due to time constraints for all parties involved, because of work schedules, etc. and also out of respect for couple's privacy), but I will still assist in children's dinner/evening routines if needed.
I am efficient, attentive, a quick and willing learner, easy to work/live with, have a variety of interests and am also a non-smoker. Discreet, modest and a bit of of an introverted personality (not a very active social lifestyle, i.e. drinking/going out every night; I do like to attend certain events (such as concert), but will give advanced notice of this to arrange), with high standards in cleanliness and hygiene. Ideal working conditions would be separate/private living quarters/accommodation (such as full private bedroom and bathroom or granny flat w/ WIFI, TV), harmonious conditions, and a wage per week. Easygoing and reasonable, seeking same in potential employers. Ideally, I am mainly seeking fairly organized, relaxed and communicative household to assist.
I have been a Nanny to a professional, small family in Brisbane with an 11+ month baby girl (for 10 months), however I am seeking to either stay in Brisbane or move to the Gold Coast area. I have also been a Nanny for over a year and a half where I assisted a small, professional family in Manly, NSW with two girls aged 18 month- 3yr old toddler and a 0-6 month old
Within both roles, I took my charges to the local parks, to playgroups, story time at the Library, and made simple arts and crafts at home like home-made playdough/paint, as well as playing with bubbles, coloring, flying kites, balloons, etc. I moved on from that position to travel and live in the Northern Rivers area. I like to think I have personality and energy, however if you are seeking someone who is responsible, reliable, independent and self-sufficient over personality, then I would say I would be your best candidate. Would best suit a professional working couple with one or two children from 6 mo. to 2 yrs. of age., however I am experienced with all ages of children (particularly babies/toddlers). I am currently interested in writing children's storybooks.
I am also willing to perform basic/general cleaning and tidying up on a daily basis, however would suit household who perhaps have professional cleaners, with minimal to no cooking duties required (children's meals OK), however this can be negotiated on depending on needs, as I am a good cook. OK with pet(s).
I am currently living in Brisbane and am seeking a new position anywhere from here to the Gold Coast South to the Tweed Heads Region and to the Byron Bay areas. I am also open to other areas along the Coast, such as the Sunshine Coast. Available for long term assignment of at least 6 months-1 year+. Resume/References available. It would be great if you could put me in touch with any of your previous Au pair (s)/Nannies as well. Please email through link provided. Thank you.

We have recently come across your advertisement and believe our Nanny Agency would be a great benefit for your family. We have many qualified and experienced nannies available throughout Brisbane seeking a long term arrangement with families.
Being a small boutique and professional nannying service we understand what parents are looking for in someone that is qualified, experienced and committed long term to take care of their kids and families needs.
We understand that busy families have minimal spare time to undertake the recruitment process of finding a nanny. Our recruitment process is a stress free solution for families. Hence, we provide you with videos of suitable nannies that they can watch when convenient, and once decided all the compliance and risk is managed though our agency.
If you feel this would benefit your family, then it would be great to meet and discuss how we could on board this together.
Many thanks and best wishes.

- Becky C - 32 year old Female Last logged on 15-Aug-2015
A qualified teacher, I have 7 years teaching experience including 3 years on a rural cattle property in Central Queensland. I am confident working with children of all ages although recently I have been working casually with toddlers.
I am extremely passionate about the early years and development of all areas from speech and language, physical, emotional, behavoural and educational. A strength of mine is knowing my children very well and understanding where they are at. Communication between myself and parents is very important and I am always keen to share the children's achievements with parents and make sure everyone is reading from the same page. If you're not interested in knowing where your child is at and what new things they are achieving then I'm probably not the right person for you.
I believe it is important for children to get out in their environment and would be keen to take children on outings most days, to socialise with others and learn new skills.
I am a native English speaker but also speak Spanish and Portuguese so I would be happy to introduce these languages to your children at your request. I also have a cert iv in fitness which includes working with children and I recognise the importance of developing both fine and gross motor skills on a daily basis. I also have experience working with a range of disabilities.
I am looking to work 3 long days per week (30 hours) split over 1 or 2 families but I am not interested in split shifts or short shifts on a permanent basis. I'm also happy to do casual evening work with prior agreement. Although I live Northside, I would be prepared to travel (within reason) for the right job. I have my own car which has 3 x anchors for child seats.
$25 per hour (plus fuel allowance if using own car), First aid, Blue card, Public liability insurance, own car and insurance

I really enjoy being around babies, toddlers and young children.
I may not have that much experience at this point in time but i would like to have the chance to improve my qualifications and help out some families in need.

Hello, I am a very caring and patient young lady and I have industry experience in Europe and Australia.
I have recently returned to Australia from Greece, where I worked as a nanny for 4 different families (a total of 10 children). I began as a full-time nanny for 2 children (ages 2 and 4) and as the youngest child grew older and went to pre-school, I stayed as a part-time nanny and was approached by other families to care for their children in the mornings, evenings and weekends. I cared for infants as young as 13 months and children as old as 7 years.
My jobs included feeding, changing, bathing and teaching English through fun and age-appropriate activities. I was in charge of taking the kids to playgroups, dance lessons, language lessons, the swimming pool, the beach, the park and parties. I enjoy organising activities that help the children's development in all aspects. Such activities include Physical play; arts and craft; card games/ Board games/ puzzles; Dress-ups and building blocks.
I am currently studying "Children's Services" (early childcare) and I believe childcare is a very rewarding career path.
I have a Blue Card and First Aid and can provide referees/ reference letters. I am looking for a part-time or full-time position and I have full availability. I also have a current driver's license, clean driving record and my own car.
I have also studied in Acting and Dance, and to a lesser extent Singing and Piano. My hobbies include painting, art, yoga and sports. I am dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and try to teach the children in a fun way (eg. "Why don't we go kick a ball outside instead of watching tv"; "When we eat our vegetables/meat and drink our water, our bodies help up to become big and strong, like Superman"). As I am quite artistic and theatrical, I found myself very well suited to child-care work. I have been referred jokingly to as "the Pied Piper of children" because it seems every child loves spending time with me.

Qualfied and experienced nanny with checkable references, WWCC, first aid and other relevant qualifications.
- Gemma H - 23 year old Female Last logged on 10-Jul-2015
My name is Gemma. I'm a 19 year old female who loves Kids (and pets!!). I am a responsible person and mature for my age, with various prior experience in caring for young children.
Last year I worked in a Relief Teacher's Aide role at a special needs school, as well as an OSHC assistant in a mainstream Primary School. I left these jobs in order to begin full time study (Diploma of Justice) and got a job as a respite carer which had more flexible hours that suited my needs as a student perfectly. I am still working in this role at the family's home two nights a week, and I love it. There are 6 children- ages 7, 6, 5, 3, 18 months and 5 months. One of the children has Downs Syndrome, so I do have experience caring for children with similar disability, however I do not have any medical training aside from standard CPR and First Aid.
MY duties include playing with the kids, bathing and dressing them, tidying the home (I am happy to tidy up all rooms, not just the kid's rooms) Washing dishes, helping with homework if needed, feeding the toddler if needed, preparing snacks (sanwiches/drinks etc- I will try my hand at cooking if you want, but I'm not very experienced in this area!)and accompanying the family on outings if needed.
The reason I am advertising for another job is that as of December 1, 2011, I will no longer be studying and will therefore be in need of more hours than the current family is able to give me. I am, however, hoping to begin a Bachelor of Speech Pathology course as of March 01 2012, so I am only looking for full time work in between these dates. Having said that, I'd love to stay on for casul work outside of these dates if you want to keep me!
I have not studied anything to do with childcare at TAFE or uni, but I do have a blue card and a variety of experience!
I'd also like to point out that I have indicated on this form that I don't own a vehicle; this is because I don't currently own my own car, however I do have my lisence and am hoping to buy a car very soon. In the meantime I often am able to get a lend of my parent's car.
Thank's for taking the time to read my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi, my name is Annie, and I am looking for babysitting and nanny jobs in the Brisbane region over the winter school holidays (am available from June 29th to July 17th). I am flexible with hours during this period to work around your routine, so please feel free to negotiate.
My experiences include volunteering as a teacher aide at a childcare centre, working with kids at Sunday school and tutoring. Also, I have a younger sibling of 5 years, which has allowed me to develop the ability to care for children. I am highly responsible, friendly and organised, and will bring a calm, safe, but fun approach to this job.
My hobbies include running, going to the gym, art and crafts, playing the piano and violin. I graduated high school with an OP1 and am currently studying Dentistry at Griffith University. I am very willing to assist with school work, teach your kids some new skills or supervise them in their usual routine.
I hold an Australian driver's licence, own a car (Toyota Corolla 2014) and am a safe driver. I am willing to pick up/drop off your children to/from school and extra-curricular activities.
I have a positive attitude and good morals and will help your child develop into a respectful, fun person! I would love to be given the opportunity to work with you and your child/ren.

I have travelled here from Canada 3 months ago.. I have enjoyed my travels here in your beautiful country and am now looking to settle down here in Brisbane helping your family. I bring 7 years of childcare experience as a Recreational Programmer running activities at an after school program for children ages 4-13, a Camp Counsellor in the summer season and an Educational Assistant during the school months.
