  • Elizabeth - 21 year old Female   Last logged on 16-Feb-2019

Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I'm currently looking to pursue a Childcare Traineeship. I have my Provisional Drivers licence and a reliable car, I'm a very cautious and careful driver. I have never been pulled over or have any driving convictions. I would be more than willing to take you for a drive to prove the aforementioned. I have a lot of experience working with children - after growing up with my 24 younger cousins it's definitely something that comes very naturally to me. I have baby sat for family members as well as family friends and through word of mouth have been contacted by others asking for my care for their kids. I'm a very energetic and fun person who loves art and the outdoors, very polite and well mannered and find it easy to get along well with the children while still getting the job done. I have no problem preforming household duties and other things I am asked to help with. In high school I studied early childhood and left with my certificate II in early childhood education, I also have my first aid certificate. I am very trustworthy and your children would be my number one priority. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully I will hear from you soon. :)

  • Lachlan - 23 year old Male   Last logged on 11-Feb-2019

Hi, My previous experience is mostly from my local OSHC in Mackay looking after the children that come to school early and get picked up late. My role there was to help the kids with homework, give them afternoon tea, play games with them and just generally have a great time with them. My second job involving kids was being a Ski and Snowboard instructor for 2 years in Canada at Big White ski resorts kids centre. I looked after children from res 3-15 once again being the sole caregiver for them whilst out on lessons and making sure they are safe and having fun all the time, I also would feed them afternoon tea and lunch at the kid centre and have lots and lots of fun teaching them to ski or snowboard. I now am located in Coorparoo, Brisbane looking for some nanny work. I am great with kids and I love to work with them and to help them with any homework, picking them up/ dropping them off at school. I also am very comfortable around a kitchen and can help prepare meals and any other house work. I also have my Blue card and working with children checks, Thanks very much for your time.

I have up kept a successful academic background and love putting this to use by helping with homework as well as being, what people have dubbed me 'a wonderful cook'. I have been a part-time nanny for a family of 3 children previously who were aged 18 months (girl), 6 years (boy) and 9 years (girl) as well as occasionally babysitting other kids locally in Noosa. In addition to my experience of being a nanny, I have 2 younger siblings, one being 10 and the other 16. I love anything from playing Lego, beading (I have my own small jewellery business and can give some tips and tricks), braiding hair, bike riding, soccer, basketball, netball, visiting pet cafe's, music (I played Clarinet and Piano while in school) and anything else your kids have a passion for! In addition to nanny/babysitting experience, I have worked in Pharmacy for over 2.5 years therefore am knowledgeable regarding kids' health. Please also note I am very happy to help out around the house with chores such as laundry, ironing, dishes, vacuuming, cooking meals etc. as extra hours or when the kids are busy zoned into their homework. • Charlotte - 22 year old Female   Last logged on 07-Feb-2019

Hi, My name is Charlotte and I am a recent Master of Science Graduate from the North of England. I am currently in Australia on a working holiday visa 417, and based in Coorparoo - Brisbane. I am looking to commit my services on a 6 month arrangement to adhere to the restrictions of my visa. I would describe myself as a fun-loving, enthusiastic, family-orientated and caring young adult. During many years of my childhood I was part of a foster family whereby we welcomed many young children in to our home on a regular basis. This experience not only allowed me to recognise how all children are different in respect to their personal interests, abilities and demands but allowed me to understand how providing appropriate care really does allow children to thrive. From this experience, I have also learned to quickly adapt to various family situations and/or settings. I am also a loving auntie to my 9 year old nephew, where I have been responsible for school runs, meal prep, assisting with homework tasks and especially having a lot of fun!. I enjoy the outdoors, watching movies, cooking, and visiting local attractions such as museums and beaches. I am punctual, committed and always professional. I have a full UK clean driving licence and have held my licence for almost 5 years. I look forward to hearing from you! Regards, Charlotte.

I'm a mature-age uni student with her own car, so I have age and experience on my side along with an extremely flexible schedule! I come from a large family of seven, and all my siblings have their own children, so I'm extremely used to taking care of and babysitting children of all ages and in large numbers. I'm trained in first aid and CPR, and I have no allergies or special requirements! I'm happy to pick kids up from school and do light cooking and cleaning if required. I love cats, dogs and pets of all kinds. As for myself, I enjoy reading, writing and drawing. I worked as a professional illustrator on children's books before returning to university last year to upskill, and I absolutely love doing dramatic readings of books for kids before bedtime, including doing all the funny voices.

Since 2014 I have been working as a casual (relief) educator with Goodstart Early Learning Centres, the full time Kindergarten Teacher in 2016. I am seeking part time employment as I also tutor privately part time on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These days are flexible however. In my spare time I volunteer at the RSPCA, love arts and crafts and have recently taken up trail walking. I look forward to meeting you and your family in the very near future.

I am a fun loving, energetic student who is starting to study a diploma of early childhood and care. I am currently looking for a babysitting job to work around my studies as well as having the bonus and opportunity of putting what I learn everyday in practice. I have various experience working/mentoring kids such as babysitting my younger siblings, having a prep buddy, being a peer support leader, volunteering at a primary school as well as being a creative arts leader in year 12 at my high school. These have all involved me working with children younger than me, whether it be taking care of them or leading them. I also have experience working at Lollipops Playland and Cafe as a party host. This came with a lot of enthusiasm, energy and excitement which was a lot of fun and one of the main reasons why I want to work with kids.

  • Ashlee - 25 year old Female   Last logged on 05-Jan-2019

I have a naturally sensitive, fun and approachable demeanor with (everybody!) children. Firm but very fair and fun with older children. I come from a crazy family where I am the oldest of 7, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. So, although I have an NVQ Level 2 childcare (certificate 3), I actually started learning way before it! I volunteered two days a week in a pre-school during high school, started off my apprenticeship in a nursery. The nursery was only for a couple of months, then I moved to a childminders setting. This was my most enjoyable.
