Hi!! I studied environmental engineering at the Universidad Libre de Colombia. I also have a specialization in management of occupational health and safety zones, I am currently studying English at TAFE and I'm going to start a Diploma in Environment studies at TAFE on July. The time I have been in Australia I have looked after a couple of beautiful children from 1 to 16 years old, so I have very good references from Australian parents. My experience with children has come since I was 15, I started to take care of my cousins and then the children of my neighbors. I am a very patient person and I characterize myself for being an honest and responsible person. I am the right person to look after your children, I have the experience and the knowledge to help in the tasks of the school and the tasks of the house. I like cooking and going for a walk, I'm funny and I have a first aid course at the Colombian Red Cross. I would like to learn from you and you learn from me. Thank you

Presently I am a Nanny for two lovely children from Mondays-Wednesdays which I intend to keep doing for the next few years for as long as they need me. I would also like to do more child care in the evenings whether it be 'on call' or permanent. I am married with two children ages 19 and 24 who both are studying and have performing careers. I have been living in New Farm for 7 years. My children are virtually independent now and I have a lot of time to myself. I do crafts and run High Tea parties in our house for which I get bookings for throughout the year. It is not a huge business as I only wish to keep it going as a hobby and to meet people. I really love this. I also convene a music competition for 4MBS Classic FM103.7 competition for young musicians to compete and be selected to compete in a national final with a prize of $10,000.00. I also convened the Brisbane Eisteddfod for 10 years which I built it up from 400 competitors each year to 1,000 competitors each year. I have a blue card for the purpose of convening and communicating with young people. Before I had children I was a legal secretary for 12 years. The reason I would like to apply to be a nanny is because I am longing to be a grandmother but I can't see that happening for another 5-10 years, so I would love to be doting and caring for other children. It was important to me that I was an 'at home mother' whilst my children were growing up because I had lost a baby at six month's pregnancy and felt the loss so strongly that I was possibly overprotective. As it turned out, my son did homeschooling because he needed the time for practice. He is now a concert pianist performing nationally and internationally. My daughter preferred to do normal schooling. I have encouraged both my children in all areas of extra curricular activities to find their interest which they both have done. I would share this caring and encouragement with any children I would be looking after. I feel I would be a good nanny as, apart of the regular duties, I would play games with them, take them for walks down to the park, introduce music, singing and dancing through interaction with musical instruments and dance/song videos. Essentially, I would put my heart into my job.

I am currently studying my second year of the Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition science at UQ. I moved up to Brisbane from Hobart three years ago to pursue my studying with the long- term goal of becoming a primary school teacher. I have been a junior tennis coach in many schools and for private institutions for the past 5 years. I enjoy working with, learning and guiding young children in a fun and positive environment. I have also had many experiences being a nanny in both Hobart and Brisbane with local and international families. Whilst studying and coaching tennis I wish to continue my enjoyment of babysitting and hope to offer my services for local New Farm families needing a part time/ casual nanny. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am a mother of 2 children who have just left the nest. My eldest son (21) is currently studying architecture and my daughter (19) is currently studying media and costume design. I do not want grandchildren quite yet... but love looking after others. I also have a blue card for working with children and am willing to get a police check if required. I am looking for part time work and I am available most hours and days. I have previous experience as a nanny, and have cared for children of all ages, taking the children to and from school and day care. However, I particularly enjoy working with babies. I love cooking and am more than happy to help out. I am a fully qualified hairdresser and have run my own business for many years. I look forward to meeting you soon :)

I have just recently completed a degree in Secondary Education in HPE. Before this degree, I was living in Victoria studying Exercise and Sports Science. I am a qualified Learn to Swim teacher with experience as well as lifeguarding. I have had experience with babysitting children in the past either in Brisbane or Victoria. I enjoy being around children of all ages, young and older (teacher to be) and am able to engage well with them whilst encouraging good behaviour and setting reasonable boundaries when necessary. I am a young and fun person, who has a strong passion for a healthy and active lifestyle. Coming from an active farm lifestyle to growing up and moving away from home to study my past degrees. I have always been surrounded by a range of animals, so it wouldn't bother me at all.

Hello parents! I am a seeking a position within a family that has the possibility of becoming a long term position. I would ideally love work in a sole carer position with a baby or siblings within the birth to five years age group. I myself have two adult daughters who live out of home and are busy travelling the world when they are not at uni. I have a reliable car and am comfortable driving with children to activities and appointments. I am just as happy catching the bus or train if this is preferred. I have 27 years of extensive experience across all ages and stages of childcare and have worked in many different types of services including family day care, long day care and nannying. I have high level understanding of the fundamentals of the early years development process and the importance of providing an emergent play based curriculum embracing the National Curriculum Framework, Early Learning Years Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. I also adore the Reggio and Montessori pedagogies and love including aspects from these theories into my work with babies. I have a deep and long standing passion for early childhood and am wanting to secure a position that allows me to transfer these skills to a home based nanny role. It is important to me to work with a family that upholds an ethos that aligns with my own core values of respect for self and others, fairness and equity regardless of age, gender, ability, religion or culture and a commitment to embracing change and innovation to ensure growth of knowledge I am keen to grow and learn with a family about what is best for their child/ren and to to share my ideas and experiences and utelise my creativity. I would like to be a part of a home where family and nanny come together through trust, respect and professionalism to help create an environment that is nurturing and inspiring. A space for the child/ren to learn through play, positive relationships, empathy, independence and esteem. In my current role as a lead educator in long day care setting I provide safe care and learning environments with a team of educators for 50 0-2 year olds daily. I do through respecting individual children’s experiences, social constructs and traditions. I am able to identify, present and extend learning experiences and engage with children in relevant, interesting and worthy ways. I practice this by ensuring I communicate effectively with the children’s families and my fellow staff and document accordingly. I hope to bring this same style of mutual respect and professionalism into a family home. I understand the importance of privacy of information and always conduct myself in a trustworthy manner. I have a multitude of sleep and settling tricks up my sleeve and am an avid supporter of baby led weaning. I love to venture out and about so the little ones can see and smell the big world around them and feel it beneath their little toes. I love to encourage but to also give children enough space to investigate and explore at their own pace. Extending on their interests is a wonderful way to sustain their passion and create a life long love of learning. My communication style is positive and based on respect and empathy. I have high level written and verbal applications and will utilise these to document the child/ren's milestones and experiences through learning stories and photos collaborated into portfolios. This allows not only parents but also extended family and friends to be involved in a child's journey. Portfolios are big books of memories and love and can be cherished for a lifetime! I am very receptive to and welcoming of feedback and am committed to increasing my knowledge through regularly sourcing books, online articles and seminars to assist me with new ideas and concepts relative to the early learning years. I keep myself up to date with sector changes via applicable government websites and forums. Professional development is extremely important to me. I contribute to building rapport with any team I am a part of through positive communication styles surrounding successes and achievements but also surrounding improvement and change. A family is a little team of the most important kind. I believe it is imperative to uphold healthy communication to foster an ever evolving provision of high quality care and education for the child/ren. A good sense of humour goes a long way too! My commitment to open and gentle communication is of course used with extended family, friends, outside communities such as schools, clubs, places of worship and health care services. I am also excited about the increasingly recognised importance of sustainability practices within early childhood years and believe that nature and its elements of growth and time are in themselves wonderful educators. I hope to ascertain a position with a family that promotes this. I love to recycle and reuse and grow as much as practicable. I am consistently inspired by a child's ability to inquire and inspire and I love the truly emergent and ever evolving wheel of investigation and learning that comes from children of all ages. I am excited to have the possibility to collaborate with a family to create a safe, loving and rich learning environment for their child/ren. Thank you for taking the time to read my application and I look forward to your response.

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm a friendly Brisbane local with experience babysitting children. I am looking to go back into studying this year and wanted to move back into work. I love working with children and have held several babysitting and child tutoring roles in the past. I love getting outdoors and have a silly streak that is perfect for play time. I am also great at helping kids feel motivated to complete their schoolwork. I have more experience with children over the age of 3 but with a bit of nappy-changing/feeding guidance from the parents, would be happy to work with newborns and babies too. I am looking for part-time baby-sitter or nanny work at the moment (not Au Pair) but am pretty open to what days I am available throughout the week. I have a manual licence and have my own car, and am currently renewing my blue card for this position. I completed a first aid and CPR course a few years ago and will be looking to update this as soon as I can. I'd love to chat further at your convenience!

I have recently arrived to Australia to study and to support my husband on his business setup. I have excellent conversational and written English and Spanish and wish to follow my tutor and nanny path. I believe in working for the “why” and not just for the “what in order to be able to work with extreme passion, giving my best at all times. I first knew I loved kids and teaching when I mentored the younger kids in my school on the subjects they were having trouble with. Since then I have always been connected with this passion. While I was studying Law, I tough English for kids on the Venezuelan Loscher Institute, then, had the opportunity to come to Australia and teach Spanish as a second language for college students at Sydney University. Afterwards, I came back to Venezuela and was the teacher’s coordinator at the Tic Tac Toe English Learning Centre for children between 2 and 6 years. Moreover, after graduating from law school, I did a legal translation course and participated on the NAATI introduction to interpreting course. In addition, I have been working as a translator (ENG-SPA), interpreter (SPA-ENG). There are many reasons why I love being a babysitter, but the most important one is I love children. Many people probably find it hard and exhausting to look after them but I enjoy it because I am caring and patient, and I love their smiles. I am a happy, energetic and healthy woman. Previously I have taken care of a 10 year old boy on a casual basis who is my friend's grandson and being an active kid he loved spending time with me because I even play catching balls with him. If you wish, my friend will provide a reference for me. I can cook different kinds of food, especially Vietnamese cuisines. I am sure if you leave your kids with me they will be very happy and well taken care of. I study Graphic Design full time next year, so I can always work part-time hours and also spend the night over if you need. I am not demanding high wages, but just reasonable pay to do something I love. Thanks.

Dear Families, hopefully, I could convince you to make me a part of your family. Entrusting me with your greatest treasure would be a grand honor for me. I can assure you that you won´t be disappointed. I am looking for a part time, live-out position in the new farm area. Currently I am working 1 day per week for a wonderful family and their 1 year old boy in New Farm. I finished my Bachelor studies in July 2012. I studied education science and psychology at the University of Hamburg. I also have my Diploma in childcare. I was already working as an Au-Pair in Brisbane in 2013 where I took care of three kids, aged two, four and ten. I have got my driving license since 2006 and have lots of experience in driving on the left side and driving an automatic car! :) I have an Australian driver’s license. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. I have great experience in babysitting in different families with babies, small children and teenagers and I find it very interesting and exciting to work with children at different ages because every child has their own needs. So you have to treat every child differently to experience and to know their wishes. I did several internships in nursery, kindergarten, childcare and in preschool where I have learned more about the behavior of children and how to deal with many different situations. I have a lot of fun spending time and playing with children. This is also one of the most important reasons why I decided to study education science and Psychology. After working as an Au-Pair, I was working with children with learning disabilities and social problems as well as in an after school childcare for children from ages 5 – 11, this involved helping them with their school homework and learning activities. I was working in a childcare center in Brisbane from December 2014 to July 2015. Here I was working as a floating Assistant and as an Assistant in the Nursery. I am still working in several childcare centres as a casual Group Leader in Brisbane 3 days a week. In my free time I like to go shopping or spend the day at the beach. I also like reading, traveling, cooking, going to the cinema, meeting friends and, of course, looking after children. I am very friendly, helpful, self-motivated and always polite. In addition, I am reliable, warm-hearted and have a lot of experience with children, I know that they like me and I think that I understand the children’s needs and we can have a lot of fun together. P.S. I hold a blue card and a First Aid Certificate from Australia.

I am young and energetic so I will be able to keep up with the kids. I enjoy creating fun ideas to keep them stimulated( this comes from my background in coaching young athletes). I consider myself trustworthy and use common sense. I am on the hunt for a job so if I land a job working with kids it won't feel like work.
