I am a very friendly outgoing, positive woman, of British nationality, I had a successful work experience at the end of my studies in a primary school, gaining Distinction for my contribution during that time and subsequently being employed full time for three years as a Teacher assistant in a nursery / kindergarten school, with children of ages between 3-6. I have traveled quite a lot whilst I was growing up and I'm proud to say this has made me who I am today, easily adaptable to all cultures. I get along great with people of all ages. I am looking for full time or part time work, NoT as "live in" as I moved to Australia with my boyfriend and we are renting an apartment already. I'm quite flexible with times as long as I get the full time or part time hours into my schedule. When it comes to cleaning or cooking I really don't mind doing any of it. I want to be a caregiver as I believe all childern our our future. I love childern and get along just great with them. In my spare time I love to keep fit, read, shop sing and dance, or anything that is creative like writing poetry or painting. If you need any other information just let me know Kind regards to all

Hello, I'm nice person who would like to look after children during the week. I'm ideally looking for a full-time job but I'm really flexible. I've have loads of experience with children as I did a lot of baby-sittings during my studies (from new born to 6-8 years old). I've also worked with children (from Kindie) during my internship for being a speech therapist. When I arrived in Australia I got a chance to be an aupair with a wonderful family of 4, in Brisbane. I love doing all kind of activities such as crafts, boarding games but also outdoor activities. I'm very cheerful and always conscious of the happiness of children. Looking forward to hear from you.

Dear Families, hopefully, I could convince you to make me a part of your family. Entrusting me with your greatest treasure would be a grand honor for me. I can assure you that you won´t be disappointed. My name is Janine and I am from Germany. I am currently living in Brisbane with my partner and will stay in Australia for the next few years. I am looking for a full time, live-out position in the new farm area. I am working for a wonderful family atm but would be available again in July 2016. I finished my Bachelor studies in July 2012. I studied education science and psychology at the University of Hamburg. I also have my Diploma in childcare. I was already working as an Au-Pair in Brisbane in 2013 where I took care of three kids, aged two, four and ten. I have got my driving license since 2006 and have lots of experience in driving on the left side and driving an automatic car! :) I have an Australian driver’s license. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. I have great experience in babysitting in different families with babies, small children and teenagers is very interesting and exciting to work with children at different ages because every child has its own needs. So you have to treat every child differently to experience and to know its wishes. I did several internships in nursery, kindergarten, childcare and in preschool where I have learned more about the behavior of children and how to deal with many different situations. I have a lot of fun spending time and playing with children. This is also one of the most important reasons why I decided to study education science and Psychology. After working as an Au-Pair, I was working with children with learning disabilities and social problems as well as in an after school childcare for children from ages 5 – 11, this involved helping them with their school homework and learning activities. I was working in a childcare center in Brisbane from December 2014 to July 2015. Here I was working as a floating Assistant and as an Assistant in the Nursery. I am still working in several childcare center in Brisbane two days a week. In my free time I like to go shopping or spend the day at the beach. I also like reading, traveling, cooking, going to the cinema, meeting friends and, of course, looking after children. I am very friendly, helpful, self-motivated and always polite. In addition, I am reliable, warm-hearted and have a lot of experience with children, I know that they like me and I think that I understand the children’s needs and we can have a lot of fun together. P.S. I am having a blue card and an actual First Aide Certificate from Australia.

HI, I'm a primary school teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching in the classroom. I have taken this year off teaching as I am completing my thesis in educational psychology, an area that really fascinates me. I've just moved from Sydney and am already loving Brisbane and the New Farm area! I'm looking for some part-time nannying work, casual babysitting or after school tutoring. Apart from my experience teaching, I have also been babysitting around my local area for the past few years. In 2005 I worked in a primary school in England with 3-14 year old children with roles varying from coaching sport, to putting the boarders to bed at night. This job gave me plenty of experience with children. I also have a gorgeous niece (4 years) and nephew (2 years) who I often help out looking after. I have been teaching in a primary school working with Year One students and feel competent and confident working with a range of ages. I am a fun, easy going person and I love working with children. If I sound like the right match for your family, please get in touch. Look forward to hearing from you :)

  • Federica D - 25 year old Female   Last logged on 13-Apr-2017

Hi, I took my Bachelor Degree in Economy in 2015 and during my university studies I've always worked as babysitter with two children of 4 and 9 yo. I picked up they from the school, cooked lunch (I'd like to cook italian food), helped with homework, played with them, cleaned the house, cooked the dinner and stayed with them until the bed time. I have some other experiences with children of 1, 2 and 11 years old. I also worked in a school to help children with the homeworks. So I really love spend my time with babies and children. I came in Australia with my boyfriend on August 2015. We travelled in the last months, but now we would like to stop in Brisbane until the end of our visa. We’ve already lived in Brisbane for eight months last year and during that time I worked as babysitter for two families. I'm very responsible, hard worker and I love to stay with children. I've the blue card, driver license and all the references that you need, I also willing to get the first aid if it’s necessary. Hope to hear you soon

  • Jemima M - 22 year old Female   Last logged on 03-Apr-2017

My name is Jemima, and I am a current uni student, with flexible availability. I've had some experience in child care, caring for children from 18 months to 9 years of age on a very casual basis in my hometown of Cairns. Since moving to Brisbane for study, I've been working in hospitality, and tutoring on weekends (so I've been keeping my skills honed for helping with homework!). I'm looking to move back into child care for the more rewarding and engaging experience that working with children offers.

  • Kate L - 23 year old Female   Last logged on 27-Mar-2017

Hi families! I'm looking for a job to start in April. I came over to Australia in March 2016 and worked for a family as an au pair for 8 months (they would happily provide a reference). I looked after 3 children, a 6 year old and twins, 4 years old. I had an amazing time and got lots of practice in games, arts and crafts, organisation (with 3 children, very much needed!!) and dealing with things no matter how hectic they can occasionally get in general busy family life! I felt very close with the children I looked after and I really cherish the special bond we made together over the months. I have since completed my regional work so will soon start a whole new year in this beautiful country. Back in the UK I graduated in Occupational Therapy and worked for a few months in a hospital before coming here. I had a placement in paediatric occupational therapy department whilst studying and I would like to perhaps pursue this later in life when I get back to OT again! I am caring, responsible and enjoy interacting with children, and getting to know and encourage their individual little personalities and traits. The imsginstion and playing your own special games you make you together with children are the best and most rewarding part of the job for me.

  • Candice C - 38 year old Female   Last logged on 24-Mar-2017

Hello I am a mature aged student studying psychology. I am currently in my second year. I am offering my babysitting/nanny services on a casual / part-time basis. I am predominantly available for weekend work. From a very young age I have been babysitting children from primary school age and younger, including my three energetic nephews; all under the age of 10. Recently I was providing nanny services to a family with a one year old child. Whilst in this position I also performed some domestic duties, such as preparing an evening meal. Occasionally I also babysit an 8 year old boy (when mum needs a night off:-) ). Whilst I have no kids of my own, I love children and endeavour to work with children in my future profession. I'm an easy going person and often known as the 'fun aunty' as I'm quite happy to muck in play with the kids. :-) When I am not studying, I enjoy hiking, keeping active, reading and spending time with friends. I am also an experienced housekeeper and pet sitter. I have mostly looked after cats in their own's absence. So I am more than happy to look after pets and perform reasonable housekeeping duties.
