Having just finished a backpacking trip down the East Coast, I am now keen to settle in Melbourne until September '17. I am a friendly, warm and sociable person with experience in working with children of all ages. Before pursuing a career in design back at home (UK), I gained a lot of experience working with children in council run play schemes. I loved working with this scheme - never a dull moment! I've also had experience in working in schools and nurserys, naturally - being brought up in a family of teachers! I enjoy playing tennis and have 3 years experience as a tennis coaching assistant at my local club for ages 5-18. My other main passion is food, both cooking and eating...Please contact me for any nannying or babysitting positions!

As a student my schedule is very flexible and I am often available during the middle of the day as well as nights & weekends. I believe studying in the primary education field and the experience I have gained through study in working with children provides me with many essential qualities for this position. I am the oldest child in my family with two younger siblings which has given me experience in caring for children from an early age. Since the age of 15 I have held regular babysitting roles for three families with children ranging from the ages of 12 months to 10 years old. In addition, during the last 12 months I have nannied on a weekly basis for a young family. The four children are aged from 12 weeks old to 7 years old. My responsibilities include transporting the children to and from school & kindergarten, managing meal & sleep routines, basic household jobs such as cleaning & cooking, creating fun and educational experiences for the children at home, assisting with take-home school work and most importantly, maintaining a happy & harmonious home environment throughout my time there.

Hi families, I hope I sound like what your family is looking for, here's a little about me. I have previously worked in a range of Childcare centres since the age of eighteen as well as completing my degree in early childhood studies. I have also been a nanny for two families, one in England and one here, this is definitely where my heart lies as I love the fact I can give the children my full attention and focus as well as following exactly their interests, this way the children and I have the most fun and loving environment. I love the close bonds you develop with the families and children, I am still in close contact with both families I have worked for. I would say the children I have looked after would describe me as fun, calm, fair, kind and loving and the parents would say I am easy going, always willing to help, able to organise and use my initiative as well as being aware of the children's safety. I really am eager to find a family with the same morals and similar outlook as myself and a family that is loving and fun and a family I can work for long term (2 or more years would be ideal). I would love to chat more so please feel free to contact me.

I'm a young outgoing girl. Just finished year 12, I've taken this year off to travel to Europe late 2017. In the future i'd like to become a paediatric doctor, or nurse. Very patient and out going, I get along well with children. I can make lunches and cook dinners, I also am very aware of allergies. I'm more than happy to help with homework and pick them up from school. I'm more than happy to get a police check and working with children check if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Romy F - 25 year old Female Last logged on 10-Jan-2017
I'm a french girl who love children and travelling. I have always been surrounded with children of all ages and I have always enjoyed providing care for them. When I was a child until my adolescence, my mother looked after children at home. Also, I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew aged 1-16 years. I visit them as soon as possible to spend time with them and I often look after them when their parents are at work or just to take times to be with them. After getting my Master in Paris, I spent 6 months with a Kiwi family in Wellington last year as an au pair. I looked after the 3 boys of the family aged 7, 8 and 10 years old. Everyday, I helped them to get ready before going to school. Then, I picked them up after school, prepared their afternoon tea, helped them with their homework and did plenty of different activities such as playing cards, rugby or cricket in the garden, baking, drawing... I also prepared the dinner for the family and helped them with the housework (daily laundry, tidying and cleaning of the living areas, toilets and bathrooms). I am always in a good mood, patient but also persevering. I am flexible and I easily get used to different ways of life. I am naturally attentive so the children well-being and safety is my priority. Then, I am ready and willing to spend good time and have some fun with them :)

Hello! I am a lawyer currently employed in the public sector. Originally from NZ, I have called Melbourne home for 3 years now. I am looking to supplement my income by doing some casual nannying on weeknights and weekends. I am personable and friendly, and have recently done some casual work in Richmond (through word-of-mouth) looking after children aged 1-7. I am comfortable with children of all ages. I certainly appreciate the degree of sensitivity in letting a "stranger" into your home, and discretion and honesty are things which I hold in the utmost. Whilst I hold a Full Victorian Drivers License, I unfortunately don't have a car of my own. Hope to hear from you soon! Alice

I have vast experience as a professional Nanny to babies and children of all ages. I am one of the fortunate ones as I adore babies and children and enjoy my job immensely. Presently I am looking to fill 4-5 days a week come July this year as both children I look after will be attending kinder and school full time. I have been with this family for 8 years as well as having other families I work for on a casual basis. You would certainly have peace of mind as the babies and children that are in my care are well looked after and shown much love and affection. I have a great passion for my job and have a natural empathy with babies and children and consider myself lucky that I can look after them on a daily basis as a mother would. It also gives me great pleasure to assist families with any household duties that needs to be done to alleviate any extra work for the parents. I am also mindful of how important it is to have activities planned for children whether it be indoors or outdoors. I know how important is to nurture and help them develop at their various stages in life. If you think I could be of some assistance to your family I would only be too happy to meet up at some stage and have a chat.

I've just returned to Australia after being an Au Pair in America for 2 years. I cared for 3 children - twin girls that are now 4, and an 8 year old boy. I worked with the same family for 2 years and loved the connection I made with the children and the whole family. It was very rewarding watching the children learn, grow and show their individuality. My duties included school drop off and pick up, planning activities, planning and preparing meals, household duties, educational games, outside activities, helping with reading and homework, and having fun! I have also helped take care of my niece and nephew aged 5 and 7. At the moment I'm available to work any time, I have my own car and full licence. I have my Working with Children check being processed, as I had to update when I returned from America. I have a current First Aid and Police Check. I enjoy sports and keeping active.
