  • Engaging fun nanny required for friendly Richmond family [Posted by: Maylynn T in Richmond, Victoria]   Posted on 13-Jan-2017
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
We are a friendly family of four (mum, dad and two boys: 3 1/2 year old and 11 month old). We are looking for someone with full-time availability to offer a mix of care – half of the time with both children, and the other half with just one. My husband and I work in our own business nearby. We are very busy but can be somewhat flexible. Our funny 3 year old loves the outdoors and learning so the position suits an active and engaging nanny. Our 11 month old is very sweet and loves playing with his brother.

  • Adhoc babysitting with potential to move to 1-2 days. [Posted by: Anna D in Richmond, Victoria]   Posted on 13-Jan-2017
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
I am looking for a part-time adhoc babysitter to start with. I would like to get to know someone well as I have a beautiful 12 month and very active baby boy. He is very shy and loving, so I am hoping to find someone he can really get to know and trust before we move to longer hours. I am currently looking for work, so this MAY increase to 1 or 2 days per week and I would expect the hours then would be from around 8am until 6pm. In the meantime I may need help babysitting whilst I attend interviews etc as well as the occasional evening out on the weekends. Licence only required in the event of an emergency. I don’t really think you will need to be driving my son around at all. I’d like someone that is very active with my son - plays with him a lot, reads to him, take to the park etc. However we do have a pretty strict sleep routine. We are a no smacking and no yelling household so the person needs to have patience and not resort to these methods. Obviously I am looking for someone reliable with an absolute emphasis on safety. I should also mention, he is already starting to run around so it really takes someone that can watch him all the time to ensure he doesn’t get into trouble. You’ll need to prepare his meals and snacks when relevant and clean up also. If we move to a couple of full days I would like someone that can do some basic cleaning i.e. floors, quick wipe down of kitchen and maybe some washing. The evening bath may also be necessary. Of course lots of nappies! Experience with children from at least 1 year and up is a must. Also I would like some referees I can speak with. I think we are a very nice family in a lovely home in Richmond. We are kind and respectful of people we work with. Of course our son is an absolute delight! Please send through CV, availability and referees. I’d also like to hear why this is suitable for you as I would prefer to have someone that we can grow with. Thank you for taking the time to consider us and I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Nanny needed on Wednesdays for a 21 month old boy in Richmond [Posted by: Katie T in Richmond, Victoria]   Posted on 06-Jan-2017
    Pay: 25
I am looking for an experienced nanny on Wednesdays for my 21 month old son starting January through mid-June, potentially longer as bub number 2 arrives late June. We live in Richmond. He goes to daycare 2 days a week and is home with me 2 days and has had a nanny a couple of days a week since he was 10 months old. He likes to go to the park, kick the ball around, playing with any truck or train or car around, and attending classes at the Library. FYI, he absolutely hates sleeping (sorry!), but has a day sleep after lunch. My husband and I work in the CBD, so we can be home by 530pm and ideally would like you to be at our house by 830am. Thanks for your interest, Katie
