I have previously worked in retail, hospitality and have been a swim teacher for 3 years teaching children ages 3-12 how to swim. This job has allowed me to obtain a WWCC, police check, first aid and CPR. This year I got the opportunity to go America and work at a children's summer camp for 3 months. This job included not just looking after kids but living with them for 8 whole weeks. Such a rewarding job and such an amazing experience, hence why I want to continue working with children.

I have been a Nanny for 9 years working with several wonderful families, caring for their children with ages ranging from 3 months to 13 years. I have really enjoyed my time working with these children, seeing them develop while having fun. I have 2 adult children which I have raised on my own. I am now looking to find another family who will appreciate my extensive experience as a Nanny, my caring attitude to their children, my excellent cooking, reliability, punctuality & a whole lot more. I am fit & healthy & enjoy playing games both fun & educational. I have excellent references.

I am confident and natural around people in general but especially children and the elderly. I grew up one of 6 children and have 6 children myself (5 adults and one 13 yr old).. I also have 2 amazing grandsons whom I adore. I have dedicated my life to raising my children to be emotionally sound well functioning humans.. I have always enjoyed been as fit and healthy as I can since I was a teenager and most of my working life has been in the areas of fitness, health and well-being. My first and most important job however was the raising of my children. I find I now have the time in life where I am not as busy and frankly I donít like it, i would love to find the right family to fit into and share my years of wisdom and experience.

I have experience working with children in classrooms ranging from Prep - Year Twelve. I also have some experience babysitting other people's children. Also, as I am completing my Bachelor's Degree of Education I have been on placements in High School's and therefore also know how to look after older children.

Hi there. I'm a mum of three teenage daughters so my house is busy, loud and crazy, never really a dull moment in my house. When it comes to kids, not much that surprises me. I'm a pretty quirky type and enjoy listening to their funny stories. Laughter to me is the key to happiness. I would say that I'm an organised person well most of the time who is trustworthy, loyal and has a good work ethic. I love reading, going to the movies, playing netball, eating out and am even partial to the odd game of laser tag. I'm available to start work as soon as possible.

I have 6 years experience in childcare and babysitting (references available) and find this role both professionally rewarding as well as consistent with my personal values. My most current role (September 2012 to September 2013) was an au pair, for the agency, Au Pair in America. Each au pair position with the agency has a fixed duration of 12 months. During this time I was living-in with a family in New Jersey, USA where I cared for their two children (both girls aged 4 and 8). These 12 months were a very rewarding experience on a number of levels. As well as caring for the children, living in the family house (full-time) it was important that my approach and behaviours aligned with the rules and principles of the family. My responsibilities covered all aspects of the daily household tasks including preparing breakfast for the girls, dressing and organising them for school, driving the girls to and from school and their after-school activities, laundry, cleaning high-use areas (such as the kitchen), preparing snacks, and dinner, assisting with homework and reading, bathing the children, and on nights when the parents were not present, I would put the girls to bed. The whole au pair experience has helped me develop my range of childcare skills. In addition, the life-experiences and gaining knowledge about other countries and their cultures, has allowed me to grow as a person. I have personal learningís relating to living independently, meeting new people, making new friends, and have noticed a new maturity in my outlook. Prior to completing the USA au pair position, I was working full-time as a Nanny in Melbourne. This role involved working early mornings and after school and looking after young school age children. In addition to the range of tasks related to school activities I also completed household chores, preparing dinner for the family, cleaning, washing and weekly shopping activities. I have volunteered in a childcare centre and found it a very rewarding experience. I have particularly enjoyed developing the play, craft and music and movement experiences for the children at Kellbourne Heights Kindergarten and Child Care Centre. Some of my successful experiences have been putting together an obstacle course for the children to explore and play on. Also creating a music and movement experience for a big group of children, involving singing and dancing was rewarding for me as well as enjoyable for the children. I also believe it is very important to be mindful of the individual needs of children and my previous activity design experience has developed awareness of the need for different levels of interaction and engagement. I have a mature, responsible, and professional way of caring for children and I pride myself on creating a positive, happy environment in which children can thrive. Child safety is always at the front of my mind and I am cool-headed in stressful situations. I have a current Working with Childrenís check. I will be pleased to provide any further information you may require. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting personally with you and discussing how I can contribute to your family and objectives.

I have grown up around kids all the time with older siblings that have kids, cousins and my younger brother. With two parents working full time I was always the one to babysit my younger brother, this included dropping him off at school and picking him up, helping him with his homework, getting dinner prepared for him and tidying up the house while my parents were at work. My older sister currently has a 2 year old and a 10 year old. While she was pregnant with the younger one she had lots of appointments and I would baby sit her other child, feed him, take care of him, make sure his school work was done and that he was in bed on time. I have also had experience babysitting a friend of my sisters child, a 6 year old while she was away for a weekend. I enjoy spending time with kids and think that a baby sitting position would be a great opportunity for me. As much as the kids can learn from me I will learn off them, I think this opportunity would be a great start to my child care career. Thank you for taking the time to read through my application and I hope to hear from you soon.
