Hi I am a Primary qualified teacher working casually at the moment so looking for something a bit more consistent alongside my teaching. I am extremely passionate about working with children on both a play and learning basis. I really love interacting and engaging with them and feel I can match their energy, enthusiasm and excitement to learn and have fun. As relief teaching is currently my main profession, I am looking for some part-time/casual day time nannying one to two days a week during the school terms, during school holidays this can be much more flexible. I have a valid working with children's check, police check, drivers license and first aid. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions!

Hello there :) I love playing with kids and taking care of them. I have a sister that is 13 years younger than me and have been taking care of her until she became the young little woman she is today. I also have experience babysitting kids back in Madrid. I enjoy so much seeing the world through a kid's eyes. The kids I have taken care of were as young as a 1yo baby girl, till 11yo crazy couple of boys! I have also given classes to kids (Spanish and Math). Maybe I can speak to your kids in Spanish if you want, but no worries, my English is very good as well. I also have my driving licence and could do some housework if necessary. Hope I fit in your family and to hear from you soon :)

I am responsible professional going through a change in career from a very busy PR career to move into a part-time writing/editing job. This wonderful change of pace means i have a lot more time on my hands and I'm looking to pick up work around the 15 hours I am working at the magazine. I nannied for ten years all throughout school and University at home in Hobart, as an Au Pair in London and France, and then when I moved to Melbourne. I've nannied for many busy professional families, including high profile families. I now have two young nephews and many cousins with young children here in Melbourne, so although I have not nannied as a job in a few years I am still always around children and have a great ability to bond with children. I have many families I nannied for over the years who I am still very close with and would be happy to act as references, including the kids themselves who are mostly grown up and I'm still very close with!

Hi, I recently moved back to Melbourne with my partner. I am from the United States, undertaking a Master of Social Work course at Monash University, and absolutely love working with children! My past experience includes coaching gymnastics, spending summers as a camp counselor, teaching and tutoring math, and nannying for children ages three to thirteen. Some things I love to do include arts and crafts, climbing trees, incorporating learning into everyday actives in subtle and engaging ways, and making sure your children are happy and safe. I would love to hear from you!

Hi families! I'm a psychology graduate from England. Working with children and young people is what I am passionate about. I have previously worked as a support worker for special needs children aged 4-18 for 2 years. Whilst doing this I also had to prepare meals, assist the children with homeowrk and maintain the care facility. The children and young people I worked with had behavioral and emotional problems. I consider myself well equip in behavioural management. One thing I value and always respect when working with children is that every child is an individual with individual needs which I try and cater to. I am a creative person and love playing with arts and crafts and getting messy. I have experience in teaching as I partook in a 5 week special needs placement in Sri Lanka. Here I worked with children of all ages engaging them in English lessons and creative play. I'm looking for any full time, part time or babysitting roles. I am happy to help with housework and chores if needed, I have experience working in restaurants as a waitress and from time to time I would work as a kitchen hand. I love cooking food and absolutely love all animals! I would be very happy to also help with pet care. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • Dannii A - 29 year old Female   Last logged on 19-Feb-2018
My name is Dannii, I have returned to Melbourne to live after travelling India. I have previously spent two and a half years in Melbourne nannying which I loved. I am originally from Wellington, New Zealand. I am looking for a new professional challenge to extend my knowledge and experience within childcare and I am excited to be applying for this position with your family! A little about my experience, I have predominately worked in the childcare sector since finishing high school in 2005. My experience includes teaching at early learning centres, private nannying, and experience providing an in-home childcare service in Wellington before moving to Melbourne where I worked nannying again. I have also completed some study in childhood education. I have 10 years of professional experience working with families and children of all ages, from birth to ten years. I love working with children and their families as the rewards are immense. I have provided exceptional care, love and learning experiences to the children in my care over the years and have a vast understanding of the qualities and values a nanny should provide. Always having a high level of communication with the families I have worked with has given me extensive knowledge of what is important to a family when finding childcare to benefit both the family and the children. Having worked as a nanny and met with many families, I have a good understanding of the type and style of nanny suited to different family dynamics. I have a lot of experience communicating with parents so that I can understand and support the lessons, routines and ideals that are important to them as a family, which I support on a daily basis. I have always provided a safe and caring environment where children feel comfortable and confident to explore and expand their interests. I am confident with both young babies and older children and I appreciate every stage of childhood as each one gives so many precious moments. Having worked as teacher in an early childhood centre I love to help and encourage the children in whatever area or subject may take their fascination, providing resources and experiences for suitable learning experiences. Some of the activities I provide are arts and crafts, messy and water play, music with instruments, singing and dancing, imaginary play, story time, baking, construction, science experiments, gardening and exploring nature. It is very important to me that I am an asset to those I am working with, and always go the extra mile to make sure things run both smoothly and enjoyably. I am confident and experienced when it comes to running the home alongside caring for the children. I find satisfaction in providing a happy organised home for parents to come home to along with healthy delicious meals and happy children. It is lovely to know that families can enjoy the time they spend together in the evenings without having to worry about the evening rush! I enjoy being kept on my toes, as well as stopping to enjoy those extra special moments with the children so I can share them with you. For under 5’s, I like to keep a learning journal, in which I record activities, meals and the special moments each day for you to enjoy. Please contact me if you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, experienced and highly recommended nanny.

Hi, I currently work at Albert Park College as an integration aide. I am English and left home in October last year to travel New Zealand and Australia, but I fell in love with Melbourne. Originally I only planned on staying here for 6 months, but now I am in the process of gaining my 457 visa meaning I can stay in the country for four years. During many stages of my career I have looked after and been baby sitting young children. I worked in a fun factory in a restaurant for a year, where I supervised and played with children of all ages. As well as this I have a little brother who is three years old and a little sister who is turning five in august! So I am used to babysitting and caring for them regularly, starting from when they were at a very young age. I absolutely love it, I love children and their imaginations and endless joy! I also used to work in a sports facility, where we had a babysitting service for parents who wanted to workout in our centre. I regularly helped out in the babysitting service and got to know everyone very well. I'd like to think that I'm fun, energetic, patient and most of all caring! I would love to be able to help a family out whenever necessary in my spare time.

Hello, I'm a dynamic and responsible person who loves kids and has a great connection with them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children but also help them do their homework and duties. Since I was a teenager I have been babysitting and private tutoring in Spain with kids and teenagers. Furthermore I have a camp counselor title and I worked in summer camps, where we had to develop the activities and provide care 24/7. In all this time, I have never suffered any major incident or problem, and I have always dealt effectively and seriously with all the unforeseen events that may have taken place. Once we meet, I know you will most likely offer me the nanny position.

Dear parents, I am studying Linguistics in Melbourne for a year. I am looking for a full time (five days a week) nanny job until my semester starts in February. I am available to start anytime. I am also open to part time and babysitting jobs. In France, I am studying to become a primary school teacher. I love children. That is why I have taken every opportunity so far to work with them. I was an English teacher in a Parisian middle school last year with 10 years old children. I have got the French diploma (BAFA) to be able to take care of children. It allowed me to be a summer camp leader during holidays with kids from 6 to 14 years old. I also have been babysitting since I was 14. All these experiences made my a very responsible person. I am organised, patient, caring and love playing and teaching new things to children. I could also teach your children French if you wish so. I am confident taking care of disabled children. I took part of an association helping autistic children to be able to go to school. During a year, I took care of a 5 years old little girl once a week. Our method was to make them play and interact with us to open them to the world. It was an amazing experience teaching me patience, self-control and how to understand disabilities better. I do not have a big experience with babies but I would love to learn if you show me the first days. I learn very easily. I am a good cook and love when the house is clean. I am open to help you with the housework. I am looking forward to meeting you and your children.

I have a BSc Social Work degree and have been employed through social services in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales for the last 4 years. I have lengthy experience working with children and families particularly around domestic violence and child protection. I also have experience working with children and adults with learning and physical disabilities. In the UK it is unfortunate that the social work role has become on where you do not get to work as directly as you would like with children. While I am in Australia I plan to seek alternative experiences and develop my skills further in social care and social work, particularly working with families and children more directly. During my studies I worked as a playscheme worker with children with learning and physical disabilities in a special needs school. I worked with a teenage girl for 1 year who had severe learning difficulties and cerebral palsy. I also volunteered in a centre for adults with learning disabilities which supported them to socialise in the community. I am a cheerful person with a positive attitude. I have a strong work ethic and am always willing to go the ‘extra mile’ to do a task well. I take great pride in my work and give my all in every situation in all aspects of my life. Throughout my employment, education and life experiences, I have developed a range of skills, which I am confident that I could transfer to any field of work. I have excellent communication, time-management and organisational skills. I have a good sense of self-awareness and I am self-motivated and reliable. I have experience of working well on my own initiative or as part of a team. I am also flexible and open to new challenges and experiences. I am a family orientated person, in particular I have lots of young children in my family who I regularly spend time with. I have a younger brother who is 7 who I look after on weekends where we often go out for activities and where I am responsible for his care. I have recently moved from the UK where I firstly went back packing in Thailand and Cambodia, before applying for my 1 year working holiday visa and arriving in Melbourne, Australia on 19th December 2017. I have not initially travelled to Australia to work in the social services sector; however I would like to work towards a social services role, particularly if I was to apply for a second year visa. I am open to any employment, new challenges and experiences. I have a UK drivers licence and am awaiting my international police checks to be received.

I have a BA in child development 0-18 years and have been working with children for over six years. In the UK I was relief staff member at a private nursery (1-5 years). During my time at the nursey I worked with each age group setting, organising and introducing new activates to help children with their conative, behavioural, social and emotional development. Other duties I performed included: Maintaining toys and play equipment; finding ways to stimulate children; helping to feed, wash and clean the youngsters; following and implementing daily routines; liaising with parents; opening and closing the nursery rooms and helping to settle in new children. In addition, I volunteered at a special educational nursery. My role within the nursey was focused on including children in sensory play, whilst working on their individual educational plans and supporting play with music, art and dance therapy. Other childcare experience I have includes working as a one on one support worker with a teenager with ADHD and autism in the UK and as an Au pair for two different families in Australia. I am a hardworking, honest and ethical person. I pride myself on my organisation and can be relied up-on to complete tasks. I have great patience with children and remain calm under pressure. I am very passionate about caring for others and have a strong focus on developing sustainable, warm, trusting relationships with children and other team members. Child safety and wellbeing is always at the front of my mind and I make sure to always adapt my working style so that the children feel comfortable and safe in their environment. I have current CRB police check from the UK, safeguarding and Makaton level 1 foundation courses completed. I am flexible regarding working hours. Attached please find my resume. If you require any further information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.

Hi, I arrived in Melbourne for 2 weeks with my Working-Holidays visa. Im stay in Melbourne for 11 months.. My job is baby-sitter. Since my 14 years I did babysitting every week in my city, in FRANCE. I spend a lot of time with children. I became au pair of the French-Lebanese family in New York for a period of 3 months (December 2015 to March 2016). I had to take care of 3 children (2 twins of 4 years old and 1 girl of 6 years old) 5 days a week, I took care of them from waking up at 6:30 am until bedtime at 9pm. And my second time in aupair for another monoparental family in Miami for 3 months (MARCH 2016 to JUNE 2016), 1 young girl aged 11 years I had to go to school and take care of her and his homeworks. I also taught him French and she taught me English! It was a great experience. I am available every day, don't hesitate to contact me by sms or by mail for more information about me. I can also send you my resume by email. Thanks.
