  • Nanny position - 3 young children [Posted by: Jemima R in Claremont, Western Australia]   Posted on 09-Apr-2018
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
I am looking for a nanny. Someone who is instinctive with children and can see what needs to be done around the house - you can read situations very well and are very caring with children. The children are all very close in age: 17 months, 2.75 and just 4, so they often don't get much 121 attention, which they all crave. The position is initially for alternate all day Wednesdays 8-4pm (during term time), Thursday and Friday mornings 8-1 but there are also some extra Monday mornings and some alternate Wednesday mornings too but this is subject to change around a bit. This job would suit someone best who does not have firm commitments elsewhere. Hours will be 8-1pm but again sometimes I will ask to start a little earlier or stay later (with notice where I can!). Mainly childcare but will also need help with the washing, and light housework, cleaning up after kids, changing nappy bins etc - I need someone who can see what needs to be done and try and do it! I have some surgeries coming up in the next year/18 months so reliability is KEY. We have no family so need someone who can help out, cook some meals, do the shopping etc - an extra pair of hands but also someone who will be there for the children as a support when I am unable to be there - so a warm person but someone who can take control as the 4 year old can run rings around people and needs a firm but kind hand. Someone who can keep the kids occupied and happy for some time. A confident swimmer would also be a bonus. Start date is officially May 15th but will need some hours before then plus handover etc
