  • In need of experienced full-time nanny in Mosman for almost 2-yr-old and 5-yr-old [Posted by: Elizabeth in Mosman, New South Wales]   Posted on 15-Feb-2019
    Pay: 26
We’re looking for an experienced full-time nanny, 5 days a week from 7 am-5 pm (4 pm is OK) for our 22-month-old and our 5-year-old (who will be home for a few hours a day as she’ll be in school 9:30-3 pm). Minimum of 5 years of experience with toddlers and young children (infant to age 7). We’re looking for someone who is nurturing, caring and calm under pressure especially as you’ll be juggling 2 kids for a few hours each day. Required: CPR certification and up-to-date with pertussis (whooping cough) and flu vaccines. Responsibilities will include establishing and following a routine for our toddler with a stimulating morning activity (e.g. playground, story time, tumbling class, playing on beach, a weekly trip to the zoo or other attraction, music class, swim class), lunch, nap time and then a shorter afternoon activity. Meal preparation for the children (including packing our daughter’s school lunch) and clean up of kids’ clothes, cups, plates and play area is required. We’re also in need of some light housekeeping help (doing a couple loads of laundry and running & emptying dishwasher) and some grocery shopping (2 times/week). Since we’re only in Australia for a few months, we intend to explore the country on weekends. This may mean every 3-4 weeks, we’ll take a Friday or Monday off and may ask for additional hours during the week or following weekend. We’ve employed our current nanny for 5 years since our oldest was 4 months old and she’s like a member of our family. We have a very trusted partnership: always sharing information with each other in person and via text and coming up with solutions together for various challenges. We’re hoping to establish a similar partnership with our nanny in Sydney.

Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
Hello, We are moving to Mosman from the US and seeking someone to help take care of our 3 boys (ages 3,5,7). Mom stays at home and would also like someone to help with light housework, errands, light cooking, etc. when boys are occupied. Flexible with hours but would prefer someone with availability to work at least 4 days/week, especially in the afternoons between 2-6pm. Ad hoc weekend evenings would be great, too. Swim experience is a plus as we have a pool.

Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
We’re looking for a fun and caring nanny to collect our 4 year old son from preschool then collect our 9 year old daughter from school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours roughly 2.30pm to 5.30/6pm. Happy to use bus from preschool to school pick up as it’s not far and we live opposite school so very easy. May also require full day help during holidays too.

  • Part time afternoon nanny [Posted by: Sam in Mosman, New South Wales]   Posted on 16-Jan-2019
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
We are looking for a caring and reliable person to pick up our 7 year old boy from school, take him to activities or play at home, and prepare dinner for our 7 year old and his two older brothers, 13 and 15, who usually return home from school at 6pm. The older boys are very self-sufficient, so care is primarily for our 7 year old. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys looking after children, who is confident helping with homework, and able to cook simple healthy meals, and is confidently able to create a happy, safe and organised environment for the kids whilst we are at work. We also have a very affectionate Cocker Spaniel who loves a walk so a 2pm start to walk the dog before pick-up is a bonus, but not essential. Hours are Mon, Tues and Thurs from 2 or 3pm to 6pm. A licence is essential, and we are able to provide a car, or reimburse you for petrol if you prefer to use your own car. Rate neg based on experience, and we can possibly adjust times and possibly days to accommodate university or other commitments. Commencing mid-February.
