We Need A Nanny is a job board that allows parents to connect with amazing caregivers. A job board provides users with full control over the recruitment process. Parents can browse caregivers and engage with applicants on their own terms. Every applicant on We Need A Nanny must provide the relevant information for hiring, such as their Working With Children Check details. As the parent is directly responsible for engaging a nanny, they must verify this information and ensure their employment obligations are satisfied. But don’t worry, we have all the information and connections you need to be fully supported during this journey.

This is different to an agency which is responsible for placing a nanny into your family. They are responsible for fully screening the nanny and satisfying the employment obligations. It is more expensive to engage an agency, and you have less freedom in choosing the nanny that will be the right fit for your family.

No, we are only an online job board. We facilitate a connection, and then if parents wish to engage a nanny they are responsible for ensuring the information is verified and employment obligations are satisfied. We provide all the information and connections you need to be fully supported during this journey.

Our secure site is easy to use - and it’s free for caregivers! All you have to do is complete your profile, and once it’s approved you can browse jobs, message parents, and find a beautiful family to work with.

If you’d like to make a great impression on parents, you can upload a Video Introduction for only $1. Or if you want your profile to stand out from other nannies, then upgrade to become a Featured Caregiver.

When you become a Featured Caregiver, your profile will appear in the top search results, and also on the Dashboards of Parents close to you. Parents can also find Featured Caregivers with an exclusive search.

We have two Featured Caregiver subscriptions available:

Our most popular package is the monthly subscription, which is $25 for the 1st month, then $20 a month until cancelled by you.

We also have a 3-month subscription for $40.

SMS credits are an optional purchase which allows you to send a message in the Message Centre directly to a parent’s mobile if provided. All SMS messages are sent privately and the mobile numbers are hidden to protect the privacy of every user.

You can cancel or change your subscription by logging into your Dashboard and clicking on the Menu or Account icon at the top-right hand corner of your screen.

If you click on the option “Manage Account”, you will see options to change your plan, cancel your subscription and Change Payment Details.

If you have any issues, simply email us at info@weneedananny.com.au and a helpful customer service guide will respond as soon as possible.

You can change your email notifications by logging into your Dashboard and clicking on the Menu or Account icon at the top-right hand corner of your screen.

If you click on the option “Manage Account”, you should see a “Notification” panel. You have options to receive helpful materials and messages from users. Simply update these options and click Save.

No. All communication through the Message Centre is secure. We do not disclose your email address or mobile number. Protecting your privacy is our highest priority and is outlined in our extensive Privacy Policy.
