  • Nanny needed [Posted by: Tracy in Duncraig, Western Australia]   Posted on 04-Jan-2020
Pay: Negotiable ( must be at least the minimum legal award rate )
I am looking for a nanny to look after my 2 boys (10 months and 3 years) when I go back to work in March 2020. Initially I will be starting 2 full days per week and then building up to 3 days a week after a few weeks. All up, it will be less than 30 hours a week. Please bear in mind if you’re interested in applying, I need someone who: - has relevant qualifications and experience. - is active and able to bend down to change nappies is a must. - enjoys being around kids and can provide a fun yet educational learning environment. - who lives locally to me (no more than a 15 minute drive away). Please do not apply if you do not live locally to me. - who has their own vehicle and does not have to rely on public transport. - who is reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic. - who wants to commit to my family longer term and grow with us as our needs change (i.e children's routines will change as they get older and when my 3 year old starts kindy and school). My experience is that the boys are far more settled and happy when there is familiarity. As such, I regrettably have to say no to short term stay visa applicants or anyone who is unable to commit to at least the end of 2020. have a natural and genuine love for children and delight in their development - have experience with age equivalent children, preferably as a Nanny or Early Childhood carer; - be willing to prepare meals and light household duties. - have a current and valid WWCC. - be calm, loving and nurturing. - have a current (no older than 2 years) National Police Clearance. - be naturally tidy, clean and respectful of the family home. - be safety conscious. - have valid and current First Aid Certification - have valid and current Driver's License with good driving record - be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months although I am looking for a longer term Nanny. I would love to hear from you if you're interested in the position.
