I am a very energetic, kind, and active, young spirited 56 year old lady. I have 2 daughters, 30yo and 35yo. whilst they were babies and toddlers I was a Family Day Care provider. It suited me perfectly as I could stay at home with my children as well as take them to school and earn an income from home. During this time I was also a foster care provider as well I thoroughly enjoyed doing this as it was a very special time for the young children, and helping them to adjust into their new homes. I also have been a Homestay provider of children for 30 years on and off, mostly taking the younger children that require full care. Often 2 or 3 children around 10 to 15 years of age at a time. I love being around children, so helping you with your children and general household duties would be my dream job. I have a full drivers license and hold a current blue card. I would be so excited to be part of your young children lives, helping with domestic duties if required and any other typical home duties, making your work day a breeze. I feel you would not be disappointed in hiring me for this job. I look forward forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello, . I am looking for a Nanny/babysitter position. I love kids and I have 3 years experience as Nanny in Australia with the reference provided. I am a mature, responsible, warm and caring person, with a strong educational background and excellent childcare skills.I am a non-smoker person and I am comfortable to work in a house which has pets in it. On a personal level, I am reliable, engaging and have experience of looking after babies, infants, toddlers and young children. In Australia I looked after 4 kids (7, 5, 3 and a 4 months girl when I started). Helping the mum with daily routines and house activities. In my last experience I was taking care a 7YO boy with his routine, what means: breakfast, help get ready for school, pack lunch box, make sure he did his hair and brush his teeth, drop off, pick up, afternoon snacks, homework, reading, dinner, afternoon activities and some help with the house duties (general organization, pack and unpack dishwasher, clothes away) My currently job is looking after 4 kids (2,5,7,8) Monday to Friday with all their routine and some housekeeping. I am currently available on weekends and school holidays. If you are looking for a reliable and patient person to look after your children send me a message. I will be more than happy to help you!!

Hi, I am a kind, caring, honest, mature (48), reliable and responsible mum of 4 daughters - two in their late teens and two who have left home. I have really enjoyed raising my 4 beautiful girls (who are all now successful, intelligent, sporty, kind and caring young ladies in their own rights). We will be moving to the city/New Farm in January. I am looking for reliable part-time work through the week. In the past I have worked as a receptionist, secretary, and ran a dentists office to name a few. After having children I worked part-time in retail selling homewares and studied interior design. I currently sell retro furniture online. I have had one month "nanny experience" so far but have had plenty of experience with bringing up my own daughters and babysitting friends children!! Also helping in church-based activities looking after a number of children over the years. The thought of helping out a mum with time limitations and caring for her young ones while she lives out her career aspirations is appealing as that was me 20 years ago!! Would love to meet with you and discuss your needs further.

  • Tracey M - 48 year old Female   Last logged on 07-Nov-2019
Hello parents! I am a seeking a position within a family that has the possibility of becoming a long term position. I would ideally love work in a sole carer position with a baby or siblings within the birth to five years age group. I myself have two adult daughters who live out of home and are busy travelling the world when they are not at uni. I have a reliable car and am comfortable driving with children to activities and appointments. I am just as happy catching the bus or train if this is preferred. I have 27 years of extensive experience across all ages and stages of childcare and have worked in many different types of services including family day care, long day care and nannying. I have high level understanding of the fundamentals of the early years development process and the importance of providing an emergent play based curriculum embracing the National Curriculum Framework, Early Learning Years Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. I also adore the Reggio and Montessori pedagogies and love including aspects from these theories into my work with babies. I have a deep and long standing passion for early childhood and am wanting to secure a position that allows me to transfer these skills to a home based nanny role. It is important to me to work with a family that upholds an ethos that aligns with my own core values of respect for self and others, fairness and equity regardless of age, gender, ability, religion or culture and a commitment to embracing change and innovation to ensure growth of knowledge I am keen to grow and learn with a family about what is best for their child/ren and to to share my ideas and experiences and utelise my creativity. I would like to be a part of a home where family and nanny come together through trust, respect and professionalism to help create an environment that is nurturing and inspiring. A space for the child/ren to learn through play, positive relationships, empathy, independence and esteem. In my current role as a lead educator in long day care setting I provide safe care and learning environments with a team of educators for 50 0-2 year olds daily. I do through respecting individual children’s experiences, social constructs and traditions. I am able to identify, present and extend learning experiences and engage with children in relevant, interesting and worthy ways. I practice this by ensuring I communicate effectively with the children’s families and my fellow staff and document accordingly. I hope to bring this same style of mutual respect and professionalism into a family home. I understand the importance of privacy of information and always conduct myself in a trustworthy manner. I have a multitude of sleep and settling tricks up my sleeve and am an avid supporter of baby led weaning. I love to venture out and about so the little ones can see and smell the big world around them and feel it beneath their little toes. I love to encourage but to also give children enough space to investigate and explore at their own pace. Extending on their interests is a wonderful way to sustain their passion and create a life long love of learning. My communication style is positive and based on respect and empathy. I have high level written and verbal applications and will utilise these to document the child/ren's milestones and experiences through learning stories and photos collaborated into portfolios. This allows not only parents but also extended family and friends to be involved in a child's journey. Portfolios are big books of memories and love and can be cherished for a lifetime! I am very receptive to and welcoming of feedback and am committed to increasing my knowledge through regularly sourcing books, online articles and seminars to assist me with new ideas and concepts relative to the early learning years. I keep myself up to date with sector changes via applicable government websites and forums. Professional development is extremely important to me. I contribute to building rapport with any team I am a part of through positive communication styles surrounding successes and achievements but also surrounding improvement and change. A family is a little team of the most important kind. I believe it is imperative to uphold healthy communication to foster an ever evolving provision of high quality care and education for the child/ren. A good sense of humour goes a long way too! My commitment to open and gentle communication is of course used with extended family, friends, outside communities such as schools, clubs, places of worship and health care services. I am also excited about the increasingly recognised importance of sustainability practices within early childhood years and believe that nature and its elements of growth and time are in themselves wonderful educators. I hope to ascertain a position with a family that promotes this. I love to recycle and reuse and grow as much as practicable. I am consistently inspired by a child's ability to inquire and inspire and I love the truly emergent and ever evolving wheel of investigation and learning that comes from children of all ages. I am excited to have the possibility to collaborate with a family to create a safe, loving and rich learning environment for their child/ren. Thank you for taking the time to read my application and I look forward to your response.
