With the current situation surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to acknowledge the incredible work nannies are doing to provide care and support to families, and also recognise our responsibility at We Need a Nanny to provide assistance to the Australian community more broadly, during this time.
Families and caregivers may experience disruption
We appreciate the advice from the Australian Government is being updated everyday around travel and public gatherings, and that guidance around closures of schools, child care centres and workplaces may change quickly as the situation develops. It may be especially difficult for families that rely on grandparents or relatives for care who may need to socially distance themselves.
We Need A Nanny is providing greater access for care
In response to this community challenge, we want to enable greater access to caregiving options for families, and so we are considerably reducing the cost of monthly subscriptions for parents to $20 per month (the first month of the monthly subscription is typically $75). This substantial reduction will be available until Easter this year, and will be reconsidered at that time as things develop. Our site remains free for caregivers to join and use.
