Thank you for your patience and understanding while our web team has worked hard on restoring the site.
We appreciate the impact and inconvenience this has had and we are always here to provide assistance where we can.
The site has been restored and we’d like to provide some additional understanding about the outage.
What happened?
Our site experienced a technical outage because our Cloud Services Provider shut down an unauthorised access attempt with our account.
We are not aware of any evidence of unauthorised access to or use of the database within our account.
However, out of an abundance of caution, we recommend that you remain alert to any unusual activity via email or text.
We have always been committed to strong privacy practises, which include collecting only necessary data to provide our services and not storing your financial information.
Unfortunately, as a result of our Cloud Services Provider shutting down the account, we are also unable to access the database.
In response to this, we decided to restore the site using a backup of the database from last year under a new account with the Cloud Services Provider.
What this means for you
For most members, there shouldn’t be any changes to your ongoing use of the site, except there will be no recent messages in your Message Centre, active jobs will need to be reposted and you may need to update your profile.
For some members, you may need to register again and recreate your profile.
Some subscribers may also need to resubscribe and we will contact you separately with instructions about this.
If you would like your profile removed from this backup, please let us know and we will do this for you.
